A Day on the Roofs: Working Through Western New York’s Weather

5:30 AM – Rise and Shine

The early morning starts with checking the weather forecast for our service areas across Western New York. Today’s schedule includes two jobs: a complete roof replacement in Cheektowaga and an inspection in Amherst.

6:15 AM – Arrival at Scarpone and Sons Inc.

The warehouse comes alive as our crew loads up the trucks with materials. Safety equipment, shingles, underlayment, and tools – everything needs to be accounted for before heading to our first site.

7:00 AM – First Job Site

We arrive at our Cheektowaga location. The morning air is crisp, typical for Western New York. Our team begins the careful process of:

  • Setting up safety barriers
  • Protecting the client’s landscaping
  • Organizing materials for efficient access
  • Preparing tools and equipment

12:30 PM – Midday Progress

The old roofing materials have been removed, and we’ve inspected the underlying structure. The homeowner’s decision to choose architectural shingles will definitely enhance their property’s curb appeal.

3:30 PM – Second Location

After completing the major portion of our first job, part of our team heads to Amherst for a residential inspection. These preventive assessments help homeowners avoid costly repairs down the line.

5:00 PM – Wrap Up

Back at the warehouse, we prepare for tomorrow’s jobs in Buffalo and Lancaster. Working across multiple locations means careful planning and organization of materials for each unique project.

My day with Scarpone and Sons Inc. represents our commitment to quality residential roofing throughout the Buffalo area. Whether we’re in Clarence, Depew, or anywhere in between, our focus remains on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer service.
