A Day in the Life of an Energy Wise Mechanical Employee

Morning Routine

At 7:30 a.m. sharp, I arrive at the company headquarters in Ogallala, NE. After grabbing a cup of coffee, I attend the daily briefing where we discuss the day’s appointments and any special considerations for each job. Today’s schedule includes:

  • Heating Service in Grant, NE
  • HVAC Installation in Venango, NE
  • AC Installation in Elsie, NE
  • Heating Installation in Madrid, NE

On the Road

After loading up the van with the necessary tools and equipment, my partner and I hit the road. Our first stop is the heating service call in Grant, NE, about an hour’s drive from Ogallala.

Heating Service

Upon arrival, we greet the homeowner and discuss the issues they’ve been experiencing with their heating system. After a thorough inspection, we identify the root cause of the problem and provide the customer with a detailed explanation of the required repairs. With their approval, we get to work, ensuring the job is completed efficiently and to our high standards.

HVAC Installation

Next, we make our way to Venango, NE, for an HVAC installation at a newly constructed home. We work closely with the builders to ensure seamless integration of the new system, adhering to all building codes and regulations. Throughout the process, we maintain open communication with the homeowners, addressing any concerns they may have.

Afternoon Break

After a productive morning, we take a well-deserved lunch break. This is a chance to recharge our batteries and prepare for the upcoming AC and heating installations in Elsie and Madrid, respectively.

Evening Wrap-Up

As the day winds down, we complete the final installations and conduct thorough quality checks to ensure everything is operating as intended. Before leaving each job site, we take the time to walk the customers through the new systems, providing them with valuable information on proper maintenance and energy-saving tips.

Finally, we head back to the office in Ogallala to debrief and prepare for the next day’s adventures in the world of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
